Your information, your control

Practical ways to access, correct, export, or delete information associated with Aletheia Bible.

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Start with where the information lives

Aletheia Bible is local first and does not operate user accounts. Most personal study information lives in the app’s private storage on your device. If you explicitly use iCloud synchronization, a limited copy resides in the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple/iCloud account.

The developer ordinarily cannot browse your private CloudKit database. Device and iCloud storage controls are therefore the primary way to manage synchronized content.

Local app data

Review or correct information

Open the relevant workspace in Aletheia Bible to review reading progress, favorite references, highlights, and notes. Use the app’s normal edit, uncheck, unfavorite, or remove controls to correct individual items.

Delete local information

Remove individual items using the controls in the app. Removing Aletheia Bible from the device deletes its local application container under Apple’s platform behavior. This does not necessarily delete a synchronized copy already stored in iCloud.

Private iCloud data

Apple’s labels can differ by operating-system version. On your device, open Settings, select your Apple Account, open iCloud, then open the storage-management area. If Aletheia Bible appears, use the available option to delete its iCloud data.

Review Apple’s confirmation carefully: deleting cloud data can affect every device using the same Apple/iCloud account and may not be reversible.

If you cannot find the relevant control, email privacy@aletheiabibleapp.com for current navigation guidance. Do not send your Apple Account password or authentication code.

Website choices

This website has no account, contact form, analytics script, advertising pixel, non-essential cookie, or local-storage feature to disable. You can browse public pages without submitting personal information.

If you send an email and later want that support correspondence deleted, contact privacy@aletheiabibleapp.com from the same address when possible. Information may still be retained when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.

Submit a privacy-rights request

Email privacy@aletheiabibleapp.com with:

  • the right you want to exercise;
  • whether the request concerns the app, iCloud synchronization, this website, or prior email correspondence;
  • the country or region whose privacy law you believe applies; and
  • enough non-sensitive detail to locate information under the developer’s control.

Do not include passwords, complete authentication codes, payment information, or private notes. Additional information may be requested only when reasonably needed to understand the request or verify the appropriate requester.

Rights that may apply

Depending on your location, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent where consent is the legal basis. You may also complain to a relevant supervisory authority.

Requests are handled without undue delay and within the time required by applicable law. If a request cannot be fulfilled, the response will explain why and identify available complaint or appeal options when required.
